The Journal of “Social Theories of Muslim Thinkers” of University of Tehran is a scientific journal that is published quarterly in the field of social theories of Muslim thinkers. This journal is published in the field of sociology and introduces the latest scientific and research findings of researchers and scholars. Muslim thinkers have social thoughts and theories in their intellectual tradition, which can be effective in the production of religious and indigenous humanities. Therefore, this journal tries to pay attention to different points of view in this field and publish original articles related to this approach. The journal of social theories of Muslim thinkers is trying to realize the following goals: New ideas for the reconstruction of social sciences based on the sources of Islamic thought; Presenting an original critical discussion about the nature of the modern humanities and determining its relationship with religion; Rereading and interpreting the ideas of leading Muslim thinkers; Intellectual, historical and civilizational traditions of Muslim social thought; Empirical application of Muslim social knowledge; Comparative study of Islamic and non-Islamic thinkers.
